
Todd Payne is President and owner of Goodfellow Ashmore CORFAC International, a 70 year old Danbury, Connecticut based real estate company specializing in commercial real estate. Joining the company in 1987, Todd has built a strong team of brokers and advisors who handle many of the regions transactions in office, industrial, retail, investment and land development. Todd specializes in office and investment real estate in addition to focusing on corporate services clients. In an effort to service local clients nationally and internationally Goodfellow Ashmore has partner offices in over 60 cities in the US, Canada and Mexico. Through CORFAC International's London based partner King Sturge, an additional 45 offices service Europe, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific. Combined, King Sturge/CORFAC International has 2200 people serving 105 markets. In 2003, CORFAC partners in North America completed 6500 transactions, totaling $5.6 billion and 288 million square feet.
Although Goodfellow Ashmore is celebrating its 70th anniversary, the companies growth has greatly accelerated over the last 15 years during Todd's involvement. Following their business plan outlining growth through acquisition and strategic partnerships, he and his partners have created The Goodfellow Companies. Todd is chairman of the Goodfellow Companies whose 100 employees are included in REI Property and Asset Management, ERA Goodfellow Homes, LLC, Bridgewater Funding, LLC and Goodfellow Ashmore CORFAC International.
As a fully integrated real estate group The Goodfellow Companies:
- Manage over 70 properties valuing over $2 billion including 2,000,000 square feet of office, retail, and industrial properties and 3500 apartments, condominiums and single family home developments.
- Have represented over 1500 clients in commercial real estate leasing and sales valued at over $1.2 billion over the last 15 years.
- Through the Cendant Corporation, bought the ERA Residential Real Estate franchises and are opening ERA Goodfellow Homes, LLC offices in Danbury, New Milford, Bethel and Brookfield in 2004, with plans to expand to other complimentary markets.
- Together with financial partners have acquired or are in contract to acquire 7 properties with a value in excess of $20 million since 2002.
Both personally and through his companies, Todd is committed to community involvement. He is currently in the board of commissioners of Citycenter Danbury, The Charles Ives Center for the Arts, President-elect of CORFAC International, a past president of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors, SIOR, Connecticut chapter, Trustee of the SIOR Educational Foundation and a member of Ability Beyond Disability's Leadership Board. In the past 15 years Todd has also served on the boards of the Western CT chapter of the American Red Cross, The Regional Hospice, the Danbury Hospital Development Fund, the United Way Cabinet, the Rotary Club of Danbury and the Western CT State University Ball committee.
Todd is a graduate of Rollins College in Winter Park, Fla. and lives in Bridgewater, CT with his wife and their two daughters.
